This blog is made up of many different things , as they flow through the mind or get selected by the mouse. A Sunrise is always good to start with.

In the morning you never know if it`s going to rain or not because where I am the weather forecast is very rarely right.

It won`t be long now and we will see how these soapies end!

This was on a bloggers pages and had the title ` If you recognize this we know your old`

I can still remember when this was standard and you had to set the colour and everything else as they had about 12 setting buttons on the back of the TV. This was when TV`s took time to warm up and when switching off it ended with a white dot in the middle of the screen.

Have you ever tried to use an old blog ? I have several on iblog but I now get a reply `forbidden`. Do they close them after a set time? Some of the oldies from this site will remember some of the names, I used to write to most of them as they don`t have a `like` button on iblog. The advantage is that you did get an idea of how many people looked at your blog.

The Jackals are still at the Wolf Sanctuary and eating the Rabbits that they breed. It all seems very self-sustaining. They breed a lot of pigs too, I wonder whether they go to the Wolves?

And we finish with a Sunset. Enjoy your Day. Leo

This will be mostly photo`s with a few jokes thrown in. sometimes I get the urge to do more than two blogs a day as I find it relaxing. The other reason is that some days I don`t even get the internet, I am trying to sort out my old Wardriving antenna`s out because I think I am too far away from the main house.

This was my first experiment.

WiFi Dish.

WiFi Dish.

As my DSTV dish is no longer needed I have decided to use it for WiFi experiments.I started moths ago with a sieve as a reflector to improve my WiFi signal, it has worked very well especially when mobile. Being some distance from the wireless router I am using the signal keeps dropping.

Signal keeps dropping

Signal keeps dropping

Because I keep loosing the signal I now use this setup with a small sieve as a reflector. In the center of the sieve I fitted the dongle attached to a USB extension cable. When this was fed into the laptop I had a steady signal. I am now waiting for my local shop to get me a dongle with external antenna fitting then I will experiment with some small hi gain antennas. Can be seen on my Webpage, just click her.

Here are a few Bat photo`s done in the garden with a Fuji Film Camera camera with flash. The problem with this camera is that I can`t use the flash when on telephoto. These pictures had to be blown up from pea size objects.

This was the original.

A few things struck me as funny when I was in London last year.

First, what happened to good old fashioned beer. It seems its not good unless it`s Organic.

Then next thing was that you couldn`t smoke anywhere under cover of the rain. which makes it difficult for smokers. there are even notices up on all station platforms stating “ No Smoking” so why was this Steam Train puffing smoke all over the Station and adjoining flats.:-)

Enjoy what`s left of the Weekend and Smile if you can.

A while ago KFC had a puppet of Julius to bring their product to the notice of SA. I thought it was hilarious because I thought he was a puppet. Now we have a cat food producer using ” Julius Meeowlema” as  a cat eating their product.

On searching the Web it seems there are a lot of  jokes about Jellytotse.

This seemed unusual considering  the investigation going on.

We seem to have another player in the mix.

This is a variation on the KFC advert.

This was obviously before he ate KFC.

Then there was the stamp that would not stick and was withdrawn.

Then we had the power outages.

Then “thenack ” on iblog started a column on suicides after it was reported that ” I would rather kill myself rather than commit suicide”

Then there was a headline in the Sunday Times ” Let them eat cake” . But no mention of the Wine and Whisky though.

This joke was also found on ” Wonky.com”

President Zuma meets with the Queen of England He asks her,
“Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me?”

“Well,” says the Queen, “the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people.”

Zuma frowns. “But how do I know the people around me are really intelligent?”

The Queen takes a sip of tea. “Oh, that’s easy. You just ask them to answer an intelligence riddle.”

The Queen pushes a button on her intercom. “Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?”

Tony Blair walks into the room “Yes, my Queen?”

The Queen smiles. “Answer me this, please, Tony. Your mother and Father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?”

Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answers, “That would be me.”

“Yes! Very good,” says the Queen.

Back in Cape town , President Zuma asks to speak with Julius Malema.

“Answer this for me. Your mother and your Father have a child. It’s not your brother and it’s not your sister. Who is it?”

“I’m not sure,” says Julius. “Let me get back to you on that one.”

Julius goes to his advisors and asks everyone, but none can give him an answer. Finally, he ends up at the V&A Waterfront and bumps into Mark Lottering.

Julius looks around to see if anyone can overhear them, and he whispers, “Mark! Can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it’s not your brother or your sister.
Who is it?”

Mark whispers back, “That’s easy. It’s me!”

Julius smiles and says “Thanks!”

Julius goes back to Parliament to speak with Pres Zuma.
“Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It’s Mark Lottering.”

Zuma gets up, stomps over to Julius, and angrily yells into his face, “No, you idiot! It’s Tony Blair
